On Friday, October 3rd, PTO will hold their 2014 Read-Write-Walk-A-Thon throughout the day. The purpose of this event is to raise money to support student field trips, educational experiences, and other classroom projects. The goal this year is to raise $10,000 by October 3. Students will spend their Friday participating in various Western-themed activities that support Throop School Improvement Goals (Reading and Writing) and connect students to our core life skills of Respect, Responsibility, and Safety. The class raising the most money for PTO will lead a parade to the track at Cook Field on a hayride driven by Dr. Bill McDonald, School Board President. We look forward to a successful and engaging day!
